CONGRATS TO THE INAUGURAL CHAMPIONS YAPPERS F.C

Huge Congratulations to Yappers F.C on winning the FIRST EVER Rec League One Cup.

It was a game for the ages and the "Cherry" on top to a wild rollercoaster of a season.

Yappers F.C trailed for most of the match until same late heroics by #12 Isaiah Persin and #7 John Riadh as Persin lofted a beautiful ball into the 6 yard box where it was ultimately buried into the back of the net in the 80th minute by none other than the man himself Mr. John Riadh.

This led to more drama as we were off to penalties. One of the craziest penalty shootouts you will ever see, plenty of chances for players on both teams to be the hero but one man stepped up when it mattered most and delivered the GOLD.

Our first ever RL1 Finals M.V.P Stanley Skublak saved a penalty and then converted on his very own attempt at goal to queue up Cherry Pie and let Yappers F.C bathe in the glory of winning its very first title.

Shoutout to Sup Bud FC on an amazing season and we will be looking forward to next year in 2025 for Yappers F.C to defend their title and Sup Bud F.C to come back with a vengeance.
